Reasons a Condominium Corporation May End a Tenancy

When a condominium is rented, the Condominium Property Act automatically includes some conditions into your tenancy agreement. This means that even if these conditions are not actually written or spoken about, they are still part of your tenancy agreement. The conditions are that:
  • you will not damage any property belonging to the condominium corporation;
  • you will not damage any common property; and
  • you will follow the bylaws of the corporation.

Damage does not include normal wear and tear.

If you break one of these implied conditions, the condominium corporation can evict you.
