Repairs

The Residential Tenancies Act imposes some responsibility on both landlords and tenants to keep rented property habitable and in good condition, but does not say anything about who is responsible for repairing specific items. It is a good idea to establish clear responsibility for repairs in the tenancy agreement so that there is no confusion.
