When you are a student renting accommodation while you are going to school, there are many issues you will encounter. Some issues are governed by legislation while some may have been agreed upon between you and the landlord, or you and your roommates, or you and your academic institution in your tenancy agreement.

Renting a room and sharing living quarters with the owner of the house is not covered by the Residential Tenancies Act
